 Great South Bay Dance LLC’s facility is available to rent for classes, workshops, and special events. The following policies apply unless other arrangements have been made.


Rental Rates:

  • $90 for 1 hour
  • $75 for each additional hour


Setup and Cleanup: Time for both setup and cleanup must be included in the rental rates indicated above. Please allow yourself enough time to properly setup and cleanup in the time allotted.


A First-Time Renter’s Fee of $135 is charged the first time a new renter books. This fee is non-refundable, and if applicable, will be used towards any damage or unanticipated cleaning services required as a result of the rental. Further charges for damage may be assessed and charged if necessary.


Events/rentals that include food, drinks, outdoor shoes in the dance room, or other elements that require considerable cleaning require a mandatory $65 fee which includes cleaning.

A credit card must be kept on file throughout the duration of the event, and will be automatically charged for cleaning fees or repairs for damage as a result of the rental.


Inclement Weather: If Great South Bay Dance LLC determines weather conditions to be too hazardous to rent the facility on the day of the rental, an alternative date can be scheduled, or a full refund will be issued for that day’s rental only.


Rental Space & Equipment: The renter is permitted to use the dance studio, lobby, dressing room, bathroom, and parking lot. The office, front desk, and basement are unavailable for use.

Parking: We have reserved parking spots in the rear of the building that you and your guests may use. Parking in spots indicated for other businesses is prohibited. Additional parking is available in the municipal parking lot directly across the street from the studio parking lot.

Sound System: You may use the studio’s portable stereo or your own sound system for your function. Our main sound system is not available for use.

Cleanup: The studio, lobby, dressing room, bathroom, and parking lot must be returned to the condition it was rented. A vacuum cleaner, mop, bucket, and garbage bags are available for use. You must supply your own paper towels, cleaning supplies, rags, etc. All garbage must be taken with you from the premises as we do not have access to a dumpster.

Replacement of Damaged Property: The renter is responsible to make payment for repairs to any damage to the facilities as a result of rental. If an attorney is needed to collect such payment, renter will pay, in addition to the repairs, all costs of collection as permitted by law, including without limitation, reasonable attorney’s fees and court costs.

Alcohol: Alcohol is not allowed at any publicly advertised events. Alcohol may be served at private events if the renter applies for and receives a Special Events Permit, found here: A copy of all documentation must be provided to Great South Bay Dance LLC at time of payment.

Staff: Great South Bay Dance LLC reserves the right to have its staff present at the facility during the rental period. However, Great South Bay Dance LLC staff does not assist during the function, nor during setup or cleanup.

Studio Rental

  • Studio Reservation & Payment: Great South Bay Dance LLC will officially reserve the studio for your rental at time of payment. Full payment is due a minimum of 14 days prior to the beginning date of rental. Payments can be made by cash, credit card, or checks payable to Great South Bay Dance LLC. Payments for rentals are nonrefundable and nontransferable.
